The short version
Automatic product recognition happens on your device. We receive a product page URL and its details only when you choose to save, or when the current page matches an item you already asked us to track.
Wishlists begin private. Sharing requires a deliberate action and creates an unlisted, view-only link.
We do not sell browsing history, wishlist contents, or personal information.
You can revoke links, turn off tracking, export your data, or request deletion.
Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we store the name, email address, authentication identifiers, and preferences needed to provide Love This. Authentication is handled through Supabase and your chosen sign-in provider.
Items you choose to save
Saved records can include the product URL, canonical URL, merchant, name, image, price, currency, selected variant, availability, and the wishlist you choose. We also store verified price observations so you can see history.
Extension data
The extension may read product metadata from the active shopping page to prepare the save card. Unsaved page contents are not sent to our servers. Access to all HTTPS pages is optional; toolbar-only saving continues to work when you decline it.
How information is used
- Provide, sync, and organize your private wishlists.
- Create revocable, read-only share links when requested.
- Check prices on supported stores and deliver updates.
- Protect accounts, prevent abuse, and diagnose service failures.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
Love This's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use extension page data only to provide the wishlist and supported price-tracking features you request; we do not use it for advertising, credit decisions, or unrelated profiling.
Price tracking
Scheduled checks run only for supported public store pages or approved APIs. We do not bypass logins, paywalls, store restrictions, or technical blocks. A saved price always includes its last verified time; unavailable sources show “visit to refresh” or “unsupported.”
Sharing and retention
Anyone with an active share link can view that list, so share it thoughtfully. Turning sharing off revokes the token. Bought items and their price history remain until you remove them. Account deletion removes owner data after any legally required retention period.
Your choices
You can disable automatic page access in Chrome, switch off price tracking globally or per item, decline browser notifications, export your data, and request account deletion from Settings or hello@lovethis.shop.
