What can we help you untangle?

LoveThisPriceTracker is the Love This price checker. Its requests carry a User-Agent that begins LoveThisPriceTracker/1.0 and links to this page.

• What it fetches. Product pages that a Love This member saved to a wishlist, from stores we have approved for automated checks, and your /robots.txt before each one. It does not crawl or follow links.
• How often. Each saved item is normally checked no more than once every 24 hours. A page that several members saved, or that one member saved to more than one list, can be requested once a day for each of them, each time after your robots.txt. Within a run, the checker asks a store for one page at a time. A check that times out or cannot connect is retried a few times.
• robots.txt. It reads your robots.txt before every check, as RFC 9309 describes. A User-agent: LoveThisPriceTracker group applies to it; without one, your User-agent: * group does. A page those rules disallow is not fetched, and if robots.txt returns a server error or cannot be reached, the check waits for a later try instead of going ahead.
• What it sends. A plain request for the page, with no cookies, no login, and nothing that identifies the member who saved it. It does not get past logins, paywalls, or bot checks.
• Opting out. Add User-agent: LoveThisPriceTracker followed by Disallow: / to your robots.txt, or email hello@lovethis.shop and we will stop checking your store.

Separately, when a signed-in member pastes one of your product links on Add a link, our server fetches that one page once, as LoveThisProductPreview/1.0, to fill in its details.
